Have your products passed all of the relevant British Standard and IEC certification required?

Yes all Protek equipment has been independently tested in laboratories such as Semko of Sweden, Fimko of Finland and BSTS of the UK, all certificates are held at our headquarters in Cannock.

Where can I buy your products from?

Any of around 500 Electrical Wholsalers thoughout the UK, Please forward your Town or City and your post code and we will advise you of your nearest stockists.

Does your product range have the same configurations as the other leading brands?

Yes Protek have the same sizes and configurations as all the leading brands plus Having our preferred sizes, the most popular items.

I need a product configuration that is different can Protek supply this rapidly?

We can generally design your product whilst you are on the telephone to us with a price given to the wholesaler within the hour and despatch within 48 Hours (usually 24 hours).

Do you make Time Delay RCD’s?

Yes Protek have 30, 100, 300 & 500mA in 2 Pole and 4 Pole all at 100 Amp. All Protek Time Delay RCD’s can be factory fitted or Retro fitted into our Consumer Units and our Distribution Boards or can be used in ‘stand alone’ Din rail enclosures.

What protection do I require for an installation with a ‘TT’ incoming mains supply?

The regulations now require the complete installation to be RCD protected. In order to reduce or prevent ‘nuisance tripping’ of the main RCD incomer this RCD needs to be of a greater milliamp tripping than any downstream RCD’s, preferably this incoming RCD should be a Time Delay Device.

Is there a minimum order value to Protek?

No there is not a minimum order value, however carriage will be charged on any order valued at less than £250.00 Net.

If I purchase a product and then discover it is not to my exact requirements, what can I do?

You can take the product back to the wholesaler from where you purchased it and then provided it is still in good condition the goods can be exchanged or monies can be refunded.
